Broken but beautiful was inspired by the japanese art form known as "Kintsugi" the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. I loved the message and idea of repairing what was once deemed broken and useless and giving it new life and ultimately making the new item even all that more beautiful. we often times look at broken items and think they are not worthy of love yet I believe those that are broken have lived through life and have stories to tell which makes it more beautiful.
